(MDL Bulk Data Manager replaces the Import/Export function of SQL Enterprise Manager with more controls and better performance)

If you do not like the Import/Export function of SQL Enterprise Manager (EM), you can use our Bulk Data Manager (BDM) to import/export large amount of data to/from SQL database table much easier and less troublesome. You can use any Excel spreadsheet to prepare the data and use our BDM to import to table "row by row" (this EM cannot do). You can export data from database table to Excel spreadsheet with: column selector, condition filter, preview, etc.

Our BDM save you and your staffs lot of time -if you have tried to import data from Excel using  EM. You will know how much patient it takes to get EM to work (trial & always error). EM can only allow import of bulk data if "ALL" rows meeting the structure of the table. So if one row fails, the whole import procedure will be discarded.  See detail..

Inventory Mirror 1.0
(for Downloading a copy of inventory data from your factory's database and upload it into your office's database)

Where there are two database in the organization, replication provides a good way to transfer data from one database to another. But there might be chances that replication becomes unavailable or broken (it happens "quite often" in reality).

In such cases, "MDL Inventory Mirror 1.0" allows you to manually download (bulk copy) a copy of inventory list from your factory's database into an Excel file - which can then be emailed or carry in a disk to your H.K. office. After uploading the inventory data back into your office database (just a mouse clicks will do the job for you -no complex SQL scripts), all the up-to-date inventory data is available for the Purchasing department, Sales department and management.

Database Security Application

Password Encryption
It encrypts your passwords stored in the database table. So without the "Encryption Key" (an encryption formula), your passwords are safe even when they are stolen from database.

For example: the password stored in database is "1234", but after encryption you have to type "5678" in order to login from the application side.

Vari-Key
(Passwords that change automatically according to a function of time)

For example:
You can login the system on Monday using "1234". But on Tuesday, the password automatically changes to "5678". So for obtaining the new password, you need to run a "Vari-Key" program contained in a credit card sized CD-ROM - which we called "Vari-Key Token". Your password can only be broken when this Vari-Key Token is stolen and its built-in security is also broken.
