A major toy manufacturer installed our RK-10SST -with dual PIII 1GHz CPUs, 1GB of memory, 108GB of Ultra160 storage in RAID 5 configuration, to be its main Database server and File server in Hong Kong office. The server now served 45 active workstations performing Sales & Marketing, R&D, Production planning, Purchasing, Shipping duties (runs also our MDL Customized SQL Database Application).

In evaluation of new server purchase, our client has also compared us with IBM x-series. As a conclusion, our Rock Server offer the same level of computing power and very large storage capacity (11 bays), yet they saved 45% on the cost. Futher saving is also considerable when they need to increase the storage in the future (all our server accepted industrial standard SCSI hard disk, while brand name server sometimes only accept their own proprietary hard disk).
